Sunday 10th  November is Remembrance Sunday this is the time when we remember all those people who where involved with Wars many of whom lost there lives. We will be remembering together at our normal service at 10.30 p.m. on that day. The service will  include the two minutes silence at 11 p.m. The Service will be shorter than usual to enable us to serve Tea and Coffee outside the Church. This is so we can share with those People returning from the Service held at the Cenotaph in Hedge End and the Associated Parade. The Parade to and from the Cenotaph in Hedge End passes by our Church and all the Uniformed organisations associated with Hedge End such as our Boys and Girls Brigade, Scouts and Guides etc, take part.

We will also be displaying the Knitted Poppies on the railings as we did last year. As these were made to commemorate the end of the first world war, the dates have been removed from the display.

more about the poppies and there creation can be found in the previous posts
